Frequently asked questions

The questions guests ask us most

Search for where you are going, choose your dates and the number of guests, then open the property you like and follow the booking steps. You will need an account so your reservation can be saved to it.

Yes. An account lets us keep your reservation, confirmation, and any messages with the property in one place. Creating one takes a minute and only needs your name, email, and a password.

Most properties confirm instantly and you will see the confirmation on screen and by email right away. A few properties review requests first; if yours does, you will be told on the booking page and notified as soon as the property responds.

Each room or property shows the maximum number of guests it takes. If your group is larger, book more than one room or choose a property with a higher limit.

Yes. Add each room you need before going to checkout and they will be confirmed together on a single reservation.

Dates that are greyed out are already booked or are blocked by the property. Try nearby dates, or use the search filters to find another property that is free for the nights you want.

Prices are shown in the currency you pick in the header. Sri Lankan rupees is the default, and you can change it at any time from the currency menu.

This depends on the property's policy, which is shown before you confirm. Some charge in full at booking, some take a deposit, and some collect payment at the property. Your confirmation lists exactly what was charged and what is still due.

You can pay with the major credit and debit cards shown at checkout. If a property offers pay-at-stay, that option appears on its booking page.

Open the booking in your account and download the receipt from there. A copy is also attached to your confirmation email.

The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Any taxes or property charges are listed separately in the price breakdown before you confirm.

A failed payment sometimes leaves a temporary hold that your bank releases within a few days. If a real charge went through without a confirmation, contact our team with the date and amount and we will trace it.

Open the booking in your account to see the options available on it. What you can change, and whether a refund applies, is set by the property's own policy, which is shown on the property page and on your confirmation.

Refunds follow the cancellation policy attached to your booking. Free-cancellation bookings are refunded in full up to the cut-off shown on your confirmation; after that, or on non-refundable rates, a charge may apply.

Once a refund is approved it is sent back to the card you paid with. Your bank then takes a few working days, usually up to ten, to show it on your statement.

If the property allows date changes and has space for the new nights, you can request the change from the booking in your account. Any difference in price is shown before you confirm it.

You are refunded in full for anything you paid, and our team will help you find a similar property for the same dates. Check your email for the cancellation notice and next steps.

Sign in and open your account. Your reservations, saved properties, and account details are all kept there.

Start signing in with your email address and follow the prompts. If you can no longer reach that email, contact our team using the details below and we will help you recover the account.

Open your account details and edit the field you need to change. Keep your email current, as that is where confirmations and any booking updates are sent.

Select the heart on any property to add it to your saved list. Everything you save is grouped in your account so you can compare and book when you are ready.

Contact our team from the email address on the account and we will close it for you. Bookings that are still upcoming need to be completed or cancelled first.

Check-in and check-out times are set by each property and shown on the property page and on your confirmation. If you are going to arrive late, contact the property using the details on your confirmation so they can plan for you.

Yes, as long as you let the property know. Use the contact details on your confirmation to tell them your expected arrival time so someone can be there or leave instructions for you.

Bring a photo ID for the lead guest and your booking confirmation, on your phone or printed. Some properties also ask for the card used to pay or a refundable security deposit.

The property's phone number and address are on your confirmation email and on the booking in your account. Reach out to them directly for anything about arrival, parking, or the room itself.

Late check-out depends on the property and the day's bookings. Ask them directly the evening before or on the morning of departure; a small charge may apply.

Create a property owner account, then add your property with its rooms, rates, and photos. Listing is free and commission applies only to confirmed bookings.

No. Creating a listing and keeping it online is free. We only take an agreed commission on bookings that are actually confirmed through the platform.

Payouts for completed stays are sent to the bank account on your owner profile on the schedule shown in your dashboard, with the commission already deducted.

Yes. Add as many properties as you own from the same owner account; each keeps its own rooms, calendar, rates, and booking list.

Open the property in your owner dashboard and edit its calendar and rates. Blocked dates stop new bookings straight away, and price changes apply to future dates only.
